Yakkalla Holiday Cottage, is a tourism accredited, modern self contained cottage set in the foothills of the Darling Range, Flinders Island. The cottage provides you with spectacular views of Pillingers Peak, Haulands Gap and Mount Strzelecki all within easy driving distance and all popular day walk destinations.
Yakkalla Holiday Cottage is a two bedroom cottage, with a very comfortable queen size bed in the main bedroom and a tri-bed in the second bedroom. The tri-bed will accommodate another couple or two singles, which makes it ideal for a family. The kitchen is well equipped with conventional oven, microwave, refrigerator and all the conveniences of a home kitchen. The cottage offers an open plan dining and living area all heated/cooled by reverse cycle air conditioner. A modern bathroom offers a shower, with laundry facilities also available. There are two outdoor dining areas with a modern barbeque area or undercover verandah for the cooler or very hot days.
The cottage is located just eight kilometers from both the airport and the main township of Whitemark, directly opposite the popular Walkers Lookout. Before you commerce exploring our beautiful island there are numerous resources available for you to read and study. The cottage is centrally located to many of the islands scenic attractions and many of the islands best bushwalks are within close proximity. Yakkalla Holiday Cottage is a great place for you to relax and unwind, and enjoy the wonderful scenery that is on offer.
