Flinders Island offers the keen walker a wide range of experiences from easy coastal walks with stunning scenery to the challenge of Mt Strezlecki (5 hours return) and everything in between.

You will receive a suggested program of walks and activities that you may like to undertake on your visit. (see below)

Accommodation Details

Stay at Echo Hills in the centre of the Island under the Darling Range with good walks at the back door and evening visits from kangaroos and wombats.

• Four bedrooms (sleeps up to eight, 2 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with 3 single beds and a sunroom with extra single bed).
• Two bathrooms, separate shower and toilet.
• Lounge with wood fire, TV and DVD.
• All linen, towels etc.
• Outdoor BBQ and deck.

This accommodation is on a farm so expect fresh bread when you arrive.

Recommended Walks

Your package will include details of the following walks:

• Allport Beach to Castle Rock (2-3 hours return – easy).
• Mt Strzelecki Climb ( 5 hours return – challenging) .
• Trousers Point to Fotheringate (2 hours return – easy) .
• Darling Range Walk – Southern end to Walkers Hill including Pillingers Peak (5 hours return) Drop off and pick up can be arranged as part of this package.

Note: you will also have the option of beach walks at nearby Cameron Inlet or further north at Killiecrankie Bay.
