Flinders Island Wildlife
Flinders Island is a haven for wildlife with a diverse environment and no major predators so there are large numbers of wallabies, wombats, and echidnas.
Your cosy self contained cottage (sleeps 6) is nestled in the foot hills of the Darling Range and is the perfect location for getting up close and personal with the local wildlife.
This package includes two guided evening walks around the property and a hosted visit to the unique Patriarch Wildlife Sanctuary where you can handfeed wallabies, and the rare Cape Barren Goose.
A meeting with the ‘wombat lady’ who cares for lost and injured animals can also be arranged and you might even get to hold a baby wombat.
