Climb a choice of mountains including ”must do” Mt Strzelecki (5 hour return) or the challenging Pillagers Peak in the Darling Range. These peaks are for the fit and competent walkers and provide spectacular views for your efforts.

Other less strenuous walks include Trousers Point to Fotheringate Beach,  Allports Beach to Castle Rock as well as Killiecrankie and the east coast. While at Killiecrankie take the opportunity to search for some “Killiecrankie diamonds”.

Whether you are a serious or recreational walker the Island presents some wonderful walking opportunities.
