Scenic Flights
STRZELECKI PEAKS:
Depart Lady Barron Airstrip and track towards Whitemark township and the Northern edge of Strzelecki National Park. Then travel down the Western side of the peaks flying over Fotheringate beach and beautiful Trousers Point. As we pass round the Southern edges of the Strzelecki peaks we fly over Franklin Sound and numerous small Islands on our return to Lady Barron.

FRANKLIN SOUND & OUTER ISLANDS:
Depart Lady Barron Airstrip and fly over Franklin Sound to Cape Barren Island. Views of the Cape Barren Island Aboriginal Community can be seen as we round Mt Munro and fly along Armstrong Channel between Clarke & historic Preservation Island. We fly across the centre of Cape Barren to Vansittart (formerly known as Guncarriage) Island and view the shipwreck “Farsund” and the “potboil” on our return to Lady Barron.

The GA8 Airvans are ideally suited to optimising the magnificent scenery that Flinders Island has to offer. Each seat has its own window allowing for uninterrupted panoramic views from both sides of the aircraft.
