Terms & Conditions
Please read the terms and condition carefully. You must not make any booking unless you understand and agree with the following terms and conditions. Any reference to “us”, “we” and or “our” in these booking terms and conditions shall also mean Bucks Australia Pty Ltd trading as Flinders Island Travel Centre. These terms and conditions apply to bookings you make with our consultants over the phone or by email.
Agency
We act as an agent for, and sell various travel related products as an agent on behalf of, numerous transport (ground only), accommodation and other service providers. Our obligation to you is to (and you expressly authorise us to) make travel bookings as your agent on your behalf and make relevant arrangements between you and travel service providers. We exercise care in the selection of reputable service providers, but we are not ourselves a provider of travel services and have no control over, or liability for, the services provided by third parties.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance to cover your travel arrangements.
Rates
All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. The price is only guaranteed once paid for in full by you. Please note that prices quoted are subject to change. If listed accommodation is not available at the chosen travel time we will make every effort to find something similar in standard and price. Please check with us to ensure prices are correct.
Booking Fees
- The following booking fees apply to all bookings based on the total price.
$100 – $1000 – 5%, $1100 plus 2.5% - A deposit equal to 20% of the total price of the service must be paid by you within 7 days of the booking being made, with the balance payable in full in advance prior to arrival as detailed on the invoice. All deposits are non refundable.
Booking Conditions
- Should you cancel the booking up to 14 days before the commencement date of your reservation the initial deposit will be retained with the balance refunded if you have already paid in full. Your booking may be transferred to another date subject to availability in which case a financial adjustment may be necessary.
- Should you cancel the booking 14 days or less from the commencement date of your reservation the total payment will be retained.
- No refund will be made if you cancel any part of your reservation during your stay.
- Any changes to your booking once payment has been completed attracts and additional booking fee of $25.
Property Damage
Although Flinders Island Travel Centre does not require a security deposit, should any damage beyond fair wear and tear be caused to any of the properties or vehicles, or should it be necessary to conduct additional cleaning at the end of your stay, the cost will be charged to you.
Liability
Guests participate in activities organized by Flinders Island Travel Centre (FITC) at their own risk.
FITC incur no liability for any loss, damage to property, personal injury of illness howsoever arising, including by reason of negligence.
You agree further to indemnify and to keep indemnified FITC, its employees, agents and providers against liability to any person arising under or in right of you in respect of any loss or damage arising out of or in consequence of your participation in any activities organized or conducted by FITC.
By agreeing to pay the services deposit (as above) you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement, and authorize Flinders Island Travel Centre to debit any and all fees and charges set out herein to the invoice details which you provided at the time of making the services deposit.
